The seeds for Drawing Boards were started in Brisbane in 2001 during a visit by London based skater and graphic artist, Adam McEvoy. The idea was a simple, use some of Adam’s gallery work, some of which already used skateboard decks as a medium, as graphics for a new Australian skateboard company.
Since 2001 Drawing Boards has grown from a one man backyard operation to a nationally distributed skateboard brand boasting some of the finest young skateboarders in the country.
Drawing Boards and Drawing Boards riders are active participants in the skate scene supporting many local competitions and council events.
In the future Drawing Boards is looking to increase involvement in the local scene and become a driving force for Australian skateboarding and skateboarders globally.
